My journey into grant writing began when I volunteered to help an organization I was involved with. The process felt natural to me, and I discovered a passion for telling the organization’s story. To enhance my skills, I took a grant writing class where I learned the intricacies of research and developing compelling grant narratives. With each successful grant, my confidence grew, and soon, people around me recognized my talent.

After my family and I lost everything in a flood, and I lost my job shortly after, I decided to start Abundant Grant Solutions full-time. This decision allowed me to spend more time with my children and help organizations make a meaningful impact on our communities. I found that many organizations struggled to carry out their mission due to a lack of funding, often because they were unaware of grant opportunities or lacked the expertise to write a winning proposal. I wanted to bridge that gap and support those dedicated to helping others.

I am grateful for this path as it has allowed me to rebuild my life, create a stable and flexible career that supports my family, and, most importantly, help organizations secure the funding they need to make a difference in our communities.
